"Night of Robots" pays interest on a large variety of MEDIA ARCHIV activities connected to the phenomenon of ROBOTS. Within the scope of the performance it is being planned to stage the pivotal part of R.U.R. on the riverside between the Palackého und Jiráskový bridges, accompanied by further cultural events:
- Emergence of the ROBOT monument form the Vltava ground and its installation on the levee
- Vernissage of the exhibition "Still Live With a Robot" in Mánes Mitte gallery (www.manesmitte.cz)
- Laser projection of images made by Josef Čapek onto a water wall above the surface of the river
The whole show is being anticipated by the international congress "Rossumování o Robotech" (debating about robots) attended by important personalities from the Czech Republik and the world, science-fiction authors and sponsors.
